‘GRADUATE DEGREE IS A FORK IN THE ROAD’
Izmir University of Economics (IUE) started enrollments for Master’s and Ph.D. programs for spring semester for youth and professionals who want to hold a graduate diploma and choose a different path for their careers. Applicants will get a chance to improve themselves on a wide variety of subjects from electronics engineering to finance, from logistics management to health institutions management offered with thesis or non-thesis options as well as distance learning.
IUE Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Esen stated that the applications will end on January 22, and thanks to distance learning programs students would receive education without having to be present physically at the university. He said that they continued to adopt innovative approaches, that graduate degree education was a necessity. Prof. Dr. Esen indicated there was a great demand for graduate degree worldwide. He also said that graduate degree education became an important fork in the road for individuals. “Graduate degree programs offer an important fork in the road for professionals to refresh their knowledge and learn about recent developments and progress in their career paths. We live in a world that is rapidly changing. New scientific inventions come up every day; old theories are replaced by the new ones. Companies successfully manufacture technology based productions and sell them with marketing strategies not used before. We structured our education system to prepare our students for such a world. Our programs offer courses from variety of disciplines, and we try to establish networks between our students and leading professionals in different sectors,” said Prof. Dr. Esen.
Prof. Dr. Esen stated that all of the courses in IUE e-MBA programs were taught live on the internet environment and that they worked hard for folks to get a high quality education.
