We will produce information and technology for humanity. We missed out on the industrial revolution as a country. But, we will not miss out on Industry 4.0. We cannot miss information and technology age. We trust generations Y and Z. We call Izmir University of Economics ‘The University of Future’ because Graduates of Izmir University of Economics will be the ones to create inventions to cast light on our future and the future of our country.”
‘Generations to build space cities’
President Demirtaş pointed that Izmir Economics provided services as an education and research university, and that they’ve always stayed on track, and raised the success graph. “Our University launched many programs for the first time in Turkey. Why not send a satellite to the space? Why not create our own robot technology? We offer education to train youth who can produce and use science. Why not train students who can build space cities? We prepare the youth of age of computers for the future. We want our youth to lead the developments in science and medicine. We will exert the scientific power of Turkey. We build our future on technology,” said Demirtaş.
