INTERNATIONAL OUTLOOK ON CULINARY CULTURE
School of Foreign Languages, Izmir University of Economics held an International Food Festival. Guests were treated to local dishes from 12 different countries including South Africa, Gambia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Holland, Italy, England, USA, Canada, Venezuela, Colombia, and Turkey.
Faculty members and students got a chance to taste different regional flavors at the event that took place at IUE School of Foreign Languages Building.Guests, who tasted Koesksisters dessert from Africa, Holland’s spicy cookie called Kruidnoten, Changua soup of Colombia, and stuffed vine leaves from Turkey, experienced cultural enrichment of dishes.
